Nagual Retreat Blue MountainsIt is understood that any deposit or monies paid to Nagual Retreat means that the terms and conditions as stated in this document titled “Nagual Retreat - Terms and Conditions” are agreed to and accepted.
As per standard hotel and accommodation practice, credit card details are kept as bond and are kept securely until after the dates of stay, then destroyed unless there is a perceived claim pending as per a breech of the terms and conditions.
The person or persons supplying their credit details accepts responsibility for any breeches of term and conditions on behalf of all members of the party staying at the property.
All bookings are arranged for the dates shown on the response email/letter/receipt and are taken in good faith by Nagual Retreat Blue Mountains but may be subject to change in the event of emergency or unforeseen circumstances which may render the property uninhabitable. In any event, we shall notify you as soon as possible and do out best to arrange alternative accommodation or dates suitable to you, failing which all deposit monies paid will be refunded, but no other claim, right or action or demand shall exist in or be made by either party.
Check in and check out times: The premises should be available after 3.00 pm and are to be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of your departure. However these times may be negotiated depending on prior bookings. Late checkout fee of $50/hour will be charged unless an arrangement has been made prior.
In accordance with health authority regulations dogs and pets are strictly not allowed under any circumstances.
The maximum number of persons (including children) permitted to occupy the booked premises will form part of the booking contract and will be nominated when you make your booking. Overcrowding and extra guests will not be allowed.
All accommodation is for residential purposes only. Functions, parties and extra guests are strictly not allowed and PENALTIES APPLY. Any type of function, party or will occur a MINIMUM non-negotiable function fee of $500.00 and immediate eviction will occur without refund of any balance of an unused stay.
It is understood that no claims will be made for features or appliances in the property such as spa, tv or internet being unavailable or unusable.
A tentative booking can only be confirmed upon our receipt by the due date of the full deposit amount requested. The balance of your accommodation fee must be paid 14 days prior to arrival. Payments can be made providing credit card over the phone.
Payment Policy is as follows:
A minimum of 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. Full payment is required at least 14 days prior to arrival. Cancellation Policy: The deposit is non-refundable unless we receive notification of cancellation at least 21 days prior to date of arrival. No refund will be given unless notification of cancellation is received two weeks prior to arrival.
All cancellations/transfers must be in writing and are subject to a $25.00 cancellation/handling fee. Two weeks notice is required for a full refund of deposit minus $50.00 fee. Travel insurance is recommended particularly for high-cost bookings.
No liability is accepted for any injury, debt, damage, loss, delay, expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by events beyond the owner’s control.
No responsibility is taken for guests personal property left on or near the premises. Doors and windows at the premises should be secured at ALL times. It is recommended that guess take out personal property insurance. A small fee plus postage costs will be payable if staff are required to collect/return items left by guests.

Occupation of premises, which in the absolute discretion of the agent causes nuisance or annoyance to neighboring or adjoining occupiers will be terminated immediately and the full security deposit forfeited, and any costs incurred following misuse of the property will be payable by the guest or charged against the credit card tendered.
Any repairs, maintenance or service reported and requested by guests to be effected to the property or any equipment provided at the property, and/or deemed necessary by the owner, will be effected as soon as practicable, however no recompense will be negotiated due to the failure of any services or equipment provided at the property. Guests are required to allow repair and or service personnel to enter the premises during reasonable hours (by arrangement unless an emergency situation could exist or arise) for the purpose of conducting any repairs, maintenance or service. In the unlikely event of the property being offered for sale, inspections with prospective purchasers may be necessary during reasonable hours by appointment.
The guest will be responsible for damage to the property or premises or loss of or damage to any items at the property, including but without limiting the generality of the foregoing, floors and floor coverings, furniture and fittings, kitchen utensils, crockery, glassware, cutlery and the guest will pay to the owners the full cost of replacement or repair of any such items damaged or lost. All damage, breakages or losses are to be reported to the owners immediately. All furniture and equipment must be left in the premises as originally found.
To avoid an extra cleaning fee of $200.00 guests are required to leave the premises neat and tidy. Any spillages, fridge, and kitchen benches must be wiped, floors swept, dishes washed, dried and put away clean, BBQ cleaned if messy, and all garbage must be wrapped and placed in the garbage bin provided. The property must be vacated on time (penalty fees apply without arrangements) and secured with windows and doors locked. Keys must be left in the designated place.
The proprietors of Nagual Retreat cannot accept responsibility for any disturbance, noise beyond their control. No discount will be negotiated for any inconvenience guests may suffer as a result.
Any printed, written or verbal description of the premises or position by the agent or employee is made in good faith and to the best of our knowledge, however no responsibility for misdescription, errors or omissions can be accepted. All courtesy will be given on genuine dissatisfaction. Any information or terms and conditions contained in holiday brochures or related websites are subject to alteration without notice.
It is understood that payment of deposit or full payment made to secure a booking for Nagual Retreat means that the individual who has made the payment accepts these terms and conditions.
